Chad Exceen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) with a successful psychotherapy practice, offering virtual counseling in the state of Oregon and Florida. Chad has a strong commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of his clients.
Chad has fulfilled requirements to become a Master Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP) Additionally, Chad was named Clinician of the Year by the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association (2012). Chad has been a Licensed Mental health Counselor in the State of Florida since 2015 In his private practice, Chad assists clients coping with depression, anxiety, OCD relationship issues, and trauma.
Chad utilizes a blend of cognitive behavioral and client centered therapy while also incorporating elements mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These advanced methods promote healing in a genuine, unique, and respectful manner.
Chad is an experienced mental health professional and strives towards dedication to the welfare of his clients. He has been active in providing counseling services to individuals, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups since 2010.

At times, life can feel overwhelming, accompanied by restlessness and fears of the future, mixed with emotional pains from the past, and increased stressful problems in the present moment. If you are experiencing any one of these burdens, you are not alone. As a therapist, I have helped clients heal from anxiety, OCD, depression, self-esteem, phobias, mood disorders and trauma since 2015. My goal is to connect with you in a meaningful way; to walk beside you in this time of need. I use a mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing to uncover the "rules of the mind" and help you discover your psychological needs, while promoting desired change in a unique, gentle and respectful manner
